4.0 star star star star star_borderI found Dr. Sharma very personable at my first appointment. Our recent virtual appointment was short, as I detailed in the my answer to the first survey question. He has made it clear that he’s available if and when I need to see him and I appreciate this very much. He’s very easy to talk with and is a pleasant and positive person.

5.0 star star star star starDr Sharma takes the time to listen and care. I don't feel rushed by HIM (just the stupid time limits you put on your physicians.) I have been his patient for years, and I trust him implicitly. He is an excellent Psychiatrist and a wonderful human being. When necessary, he is always there to consult with my other Therapists and Physicians.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent doctor! Dr. Sharma is the best psychiatrist I have ever encounter since I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety in my earlier 20's He lessens and ask important questions about not changing medicine abruptly and lowering doses as needed. I feel I am in great hands.

5.0 star star star star starI find my sessions with Dr. Sharma to be very helpful in dealing with my anxiety and depression. Our meetings are equal to having a conversation with a person I trust. His comments and suggestions are helpful and constructive. His medical advice is conservative (with regard to RX prescriptions) and he listens to my reactions as to their effectiveness.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
