5.0 star star star star starExcellent doctor with a good bedside manner. Great at explaining things to a layperson like me about what's happening, what course of treatment is being implemented, and what the possible outcomes are, while being realistic about managing expectations.

5.0 star star star star starThis is a tough question to answer after only one visit. During that time he showed himself to be knowledgeable, friendly, direct, and someone who could put your mind at ease. But that is from only one visit.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kapp was attentive to my questions and concerns, thoughtful in his responses, and clearly articulated both the scope of my 'issue' and the potential remedies. Dr. Kapp communicates in a manner that conveys a calm confidence, and as someone largely unused to needing any medical interventions, I find that especially valuable.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kapp is always there to meet his patients needs. No matter how many questions you have or need further explanation on something he always makes time for not only his patient but their family. He has assisted in getting the necessary supplies that are needed. Northwestern should be proud to have such a fine physician.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
