5.0 star star star star starWe’ll explain and great team! Thank you for making this whole process for my father much easier. It is a very difficult time for the family to watch a strong person go through these process and your team made it easy to understand.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Schaeffer was very complete in the information he provided me for my situation. He was good about going over my options and what he is recommending be done next. The steps were clear and I left with a good understanding of what is needed moving forward

5.0 star star star star starAgain I did research on Dr Schaeffer and I found him to be what I believed he would be as a doctor I could trust and talk to. I’m these trying times it is extremely rare to have a doctor call you and have a meaningful discussion about your condition. Again I have to put the doctors I have dealt with and even the interns and support staff in this category attentive at Northwestern Hospital.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
