Bio

Dr. Shirazi is the medical director of Northwestern Medicine Radiation Oncology in the south suburbs. He has expertise in treating a broad range of cancerous tumors including breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal malignancies, prostate cancer, lymphomas, sarcomas, gynecologic cancer and skin cancer, with special interest in head and neck cancer and brain tumors. Treatments used by Dr. Shirazi include stereotactic radiation including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), 3D conformal treatment, and volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT).
