Dr. Shuaib was very kind and professional, she treats obesity not as a fault of the person but rather their genetics and hormones. It is refreshing to see this updated view of obesity in medicine which in the past has always been the patients fault for not trying hard enough.

So many doctors these days just try to rush you through to meet their quotas and make you feel unimportant. Genuinely interested in learning more than the surface stuff. Never gave any sign that there was a time limit. My history is long and complicated and she was on it. I am fearful of new physician relationships and dont trust easily. She broke through all of that in seconds.
