5.0 star star star star starShe felt distant. Though she was thorough and answered all my questions. Her treatment of my persistent cyst took a slightly different route, which gives me hope that this treatment will heal my problem. She did mention to make a return appointment if the cyst is persistent.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very personable and the main thing is she listens to what the patient has to say and digital examination of my eyes and hopefully the medications that I currently have now will help issues that I've had since 2022.

5.0 star star star star starDr spent much time explaining procedure, giving time for questions. I was not rushed. The surgery went very well with great outcome. I like her holistic approach to promote healing that started before the day of surgery.

5.0 star star star star starI felt so seen and validated by Dr. Scofield-Kaplan! What I thought was going to be a consult to have me come back for a procedure, she was able to take care of my issue during my appointment! She was so professional and kind. I also was extremely impressed with how quickly I was able to get an appointment!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
