5.0 star star star star starI told the dr that I had a traumatic experience previously at the dermatologist & she was so kind & understanding. I was in & out of the office with thorough care from head to toe (& between my toes!) in 30 minutes! I even had 2 moles removed! I am so blown away with the care I received & how easy everything was. Thank you so much!

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderVery rushed appointment. The dermatologists are scheduled for too short of a time to even take a moment to be personable. She did not look closely at my skin and I had to point out issues that are fairly obvious. After waiting MONTHS for an appointment, I do not think I even got the full 10 minutes with the doctor.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr de Leon is nice and knowledgeable. I rate this an 8 out of 10 because sometimes I feel rushed by her and her nurse, and she explains things very scientifically at first so it usually takes me asking questions to get an understanding of her treatment plan.

4.0 star star star star star_borderSpeedy to the point of feeling rushed. Definitely get like she was judgment free about my skin. Her instructions and spiel were very practiced. I didn’t feel like much was tailored toward me. That said she did address all my questions raised with the nurse/ assistant.

5.0 star star star star starShe explains the reasons for every mark on one’s body and whether or not we need to monitor anything. Her advice is solid and her suggestions are backed up by loads of research. She knows her specialty very well!

5.0 star star star star starShe was great. She knew exactly what it was I had, and did a fantastic job during the procedure. It's been a week now since the procedure, and I've experienced no issues. All around it was a great, pain-free experience.

5.0 star star star star starI can’t say enough great things about Dr. de Leon. She knew exactly what to recommend and prescribe me. She is smart and efficient. I also truly appreciate that she too takes good care of herself and of her own skin.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Dianne de Leon is fantastic; she has always provided me with excellent care. I first stumbled there by accident (I thought this was close to where I used to work downtown), since this office is far away from where I live, but I like Dr. de Leon so much that I don't think I'll ever switch to another dermatologist no matter how inconvenient it is to drive all the way there.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
