5.0 star star star star starUnderstanding, compassion for her patients, her staff is incredible, [Patient's name] questions are always answered in a timely manner as well. I feel safe and that is so important when you are battling any kind of cancer. Forever grateful and thank you.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hansen is very experienced and was quite forthcoming during our initial consultation. The pre-surgery visit was perfunctory, most likely because of the number of surgeries she was booked for that day.

5.0 star star star star starShe was everything I hoped she would be when I selected her for my care. She was very gentle and when she spoke it was with compassion and certainty. She put me at ease about my care and also let me know if I had questions about my care to message in my portal. How reassuring to know there is a Dr. and her team to help you thru your medical concerns and willing to listen to you.

5.0 star star star star starShe is knowledgeable, patient and kind. Despite seeing me only once or twice per year, Dr. Hansen tracks my case and makes sure I am doing the right things. Dr Hansen is wonderful and I have confidence in her recommendations. I have not had that confidence with all doctors in the past. I am grateful to have that confidence in my doctor now.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hansen is the leader of the team and the individual surgeon. I had complete faith in her. That was born out by a very successful experience before, during, and after surgery. She explains ahead of time what the options and her recommendations are. She then follows through accordingly.

5.0 star star star star starDr Hansen is professional and efficient. Today Dr Hansen was assisted by Dr [last name]. Dr [last name] was similarly professional but also took a little extra time during her preliminary exam to provide patient support. …I am very appreciative.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
