5.0 star star star star starI have been told by many people surgeons are machines, not to expect compassion and comfort, she tried the second time around and it's just not her area of expertise and that's ok. She did not put tape on my breasts and she listened to that allergy. I am sure she is overworked and tired. At the end of the day, she's a great surgeon and all of the nurses on the floor were great, and comforting.

5.0 star star star star starShe was knowledgeable, experienced, and concerned about getting all the cancer and having clean margins the first time so she wouldn't have to do a second surgery. I had minimal pain the day of and the next day I used an ice pack and Tylenol in the morning for pain. My lab results came back with clean margins.

5.0 star star star star starI feel Dr. Hansen is very knowledgeable and is easy to talk to. From my first appointment with Dr. Hansen, she has always been very clear with my treatment plan and has put me at ease. I respect her opinion and also with the many wonderful people that support her ie: nurses, physician assistants and other physicians.

5.0 star star star star starShe continues to be straightforward in her assessment of my situation. I am grateful that she skillfully employed her professional care, knowledge, and skills during my surgery which led to me having a positive outcome with minimal discomfort. The surgery went so smoothly that I was able to return to the work the following day and every day since. She is an exemplary physician who used her experience, skills, and knowledge to ensure what I hope will be a long-term perfect solution - vanquishing of my cancer.

5.0 star star star star starAfter her examination, Dr. Hansen was in agreement that my issue is not likely to advance to a more serious problem. She ordered another mammogram and ultrasound in 6 months followed by a visit with her.

5.0 star star star star starDr Hansen and her PA Ethan both took the time to answer all my questions and provided information in an easy to understand way. Ethan started by noting that my chart said non-binary and asked my pronouns, which was very much appreciated in an otherwise highly gendered context of breast cancer care. He was also knowledgeable about various reconstruction options and which plastic surgeon might best meet my needs. Dr Hansen and Ethan explained my options and the relative risks associated with each in detail. I felt very supported in making the decision that was best for me. The nursing staff made sure I had clear next steps when I left the office.

5.0 star star star star starDuring my first meeting with Dr. Hansen, when my treatment protocol was being decided, when Dr. Hansen met me, looked at me, at my then recent pathology reports and biometrics, she immediately took my file to Dr. Tellez. Dr, Hansen never defined me by my age. As a result, I received the Keynote protocol that included Pembrolizulab, for which I thank her everyday. She took the time and effort to pivot in order to provide a better outcome for her patient. She is the Doctor everyone hopes to have in charge of their care. I feel extremely lucky to have had her at the helm during this journey.
