3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDr. Gulati was attentive to my concerns and I felt she took my health seriously. I read the physician's notes that were added to my MyNM portal and have to say that it was a bit shocking to be referred to in those as "obese female" instead of "the patient" or my name. A friend of mine says her doctor describes her as "well-nourished." It concerns me that the first thing that was noted is that I was fat.

5.0 star star star star starEven though there was a slight delay with my appointment (nurse scheduling issue) I wasn’t rushed. Nurse and Dr. Gulati were all very kind and took their time. Dr. Gulati listened closely to everything i said

5.0 star star star star starSame as answers listed above. She recommended some tests for me and when I told her I had driving anxieties. She told me when the tests were scheduled to request that they be performed in Huntley to alleviate my fears in traveling any distance

5.0 star star star star starShe was kind, patient and heard my concerns. I felt like she had empathy for my concerns. It has been a long road trying to find someone who actually heard me and was willing to help. In the past I just got a tilted head telling me to deal with it. I’m so happy Dr. Gulati was referred to me!

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderLacked compassion, she was judgmental and kept asking me about my mental health when I explained numerous times that I have an involved mental health team and actively work on mental health every day. I came in for a physical health complaint and she blamed it on my mental health

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gulati spent over an hour with me on my first visit she took time to talk to me. She asked me a lot of questions about me. She is very thorough with her physicals. She gives you all the time you need to talk to her about anything. I would totally recommend Dr. Gulati.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
