5.0 star star star star starShe saved my life! I couldn't ask for a more honest, knowledgeable, and skilled surgeon. She wanted to see me get better. She didn't take shortcuts to appease me. She gave me her recommendations for treatment and the basis for same. She did a phenomenal job with the surgery. She kept my family informed during the surgery. Her team was always there when I had a question or concern. We are now working to get me healthy so that she can do a reversal of my stoma. I highly recommend her as a colorectal surgeon!

5.0 star star star star starShe was very calm and compassionate to the loss that I am about to encounter. It was very clear that she truly cares for her patients. She allowed me all the time I needed to ask questions or express any concerns. I never felt like she had another patient she had to rush to next.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent explanations and answers to our questions. Very thoughtful and empathetic while being practical and efficient at the same time. Moved all the steps and follow ups very quickly so we got answers and a plan for next steps. Coordinating with the other doctors very well! Excellent bedside manner!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
