Dr. Shah always took out a lot of time for me to explain to me the changing treatment plan as new discoveries led to new methods of treatment. She also was great in arranging visits with relevant specialists. I found that she uses input from the "tumor board" and defers to specialist interpretations rather than stick to a rigid plan.

The purpose of this appointment with Dr. Ami Shah was to get a 2nd opinion on the treatment plan I was given by a Duly oncologist. Dr. Shah was well prepared for my appointment. She knew the highlights of my medical history. She spoke in terms that a non-medical person would understand. I never felt rushed during the meeting. I was so impressed with the facility and Dr. Shah, I asked to transfer to NorthWestern for my current cancer treatments.
