4.0 star star star star star_borderMy 1st visit with this doctor. She seems to know her stuff. But, as stated only my initial visit. She did however, make up for the rudeness experienced by the nurse with her great bedside manner .

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI like her as a person, and her bedside manner is good. She probably has to deal with a lot of people that tend to be in a foul mood so I appreciate what she does. But I have a serious neuro-psychiatric disorder and she has failed to recognize the adequate kind of feedback required for me to be able to guide my own treatment in a meaningful way. Specifically, she fails to engage in a two sided conversation where my differential and experience are voiced, and she responds with what she is thinking might be causing the problem, and what steps can be taken to rule things out. In short, I feel like I get asked a lot of questions, I give the best answers I can, but then I get called out on discrepancies. I can be a tough nut to crack, so I don’t fully blame her - but I patently don’t think she does well with psych patients. Normal people may respond to being infantilized, mostly those who are in chronic pain, because they’ve probably already infantilized themselves. But it doesn’t work on nut jobs.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
