The Northwestern Medicine Multiple Sclerosis and Clinical Neuroimmunology Program provides comprehensive care for patients who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

Please let us know when you are thinking about getting pregnant. You will need a special appointment to create a pregnancy and MS treatment plan. Your care team will tailor the plan to you. It will be based on your preferences, age, medications, severity of MS and other factors.

What to expect during your appointment

Your physician will look at your treatment plan. They will decide if it works with family planning. Then, we work closely with your primary care physician, OB/GYN and neurologist to provide comprehensive care.

• Breastfeeding
• Fertility treatments
• Relapse risk
• MS treatments
