5.0 star star star star starDr. Aadam is exceptionally skilled, vey patient-focused and a pleasure to work with. The whole NM team that provided service and support to me before, during and after the surgery has performed beyond my expectations.

5.0 star star star star starHe is highly qualified according to the website and because he is affiliated with Northwestern Memorial. He was personable and was attentive to my anxiety and need for a second opinion. He did a good job of putting me at ease and explaining in understandable terms my condition.

4.0 star star star star star_borderAs a doctor, I liked Dr Aadaam. But I was mystified why he was 30 minutes late for a 1:30 appointment when I was told I was his first patient. I also didn't appreciate being seen by a resident first. I don"t like it when the first encounter with the specialist is through other staff.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Adam is great! He treated my problem effectively and has followed up thoroughly. His nurse, Linda is wonderful. She schedules appointments and is so helpful. She contacts Dr. Aadam about any concerns I have and gets back with me in a very timely manner.

5.0 star star star star starExtremely competent, skilled GI specialist with exceptional bedside manners and a genuine concern for his patients. I have had achalasia for over a decade complicated by post-surgical gastroparesis (performed by a different GI surgeon at a different Chicago hospital). Dr. Aadam performed endoscopic surgery on me last month and although Ill never be perfect, I thank him and his staff for significantly improving my quality of life!

5.0 star star star star starI'm very pleased with his ability to answer my questions and help me understand procedures. His medical skills helped me tremendously - POEM procedure was just what I needed. I'm glad I found him....and I searched until I did. It was actually a physician from another hospital system who recommended I try to get an appointment at NWM.

5.0 star star star star starI am only giving Dr. Aadam and his 2nd year fellow a 10. I went to see him for a 2nd opinion because I had no confidence in my GI team at CDH. After we talked, both of us were on the same page from the get go. They brought confidence and decreased to me today. Definitely will return to him and recommend him for sure!! Thank you so much, Dr. Aaman!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
