When I finally was able to see my Dr he seemed like he was in a rush to get it over with. Not sitting down with me and explaining my options related to my injury, instead made me decide on an important decision on the spot.

Doctor that communicates well with patient. Am happy with elbow replacement that he did for me. Because of Covid and recovery from dislocated knee cap, this surgery was put on hold. Am grateful that he has helped me get back to normal.

Dr. Marra quickly diagnosed my shoulder issue. He had a plan for treatment and was clear in his presentation of what he thought needed to be done. I was pleased with my follow up treatments and visits.

The best orthopedic surgeon I've ever seen and delt with. Explain my entire procedure to my understanding . Totally explain what was going to happen and what the results would be and also explained my options with and without surgery . His pre-op and post-op examinations are extremely thorough . He was available to me before and after my successful surgery, all to his credit , I personally think he is the best .

First time meeting him, very nice, very knowledgeable. Took time to find the problem and the research needed. He did tests that other doctors did not do. He didn't throw u off to the side and say I can't help u anymore, which my last experience with another doctor did. I have confidence in Dr. Marra. He's trying to fix my shoulders that the other doctors messed up. I so appreciate that because my job requires me to use my shoulders. I give him so much credit. Thank u for helping me.

Doctor Marra has been one of the best doctors I’ve had. I’ve been with him for 12 years and he’s the only doctor I will allow to do my shoulders. Great bedside manners all around a wonderful doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
