5.0 star star star star starIt was my first time with her and I would’ve loved to get a little more of an introduction / meet and greet. But I think because she was running so late it was quick. I don’t feel like I was rushed nor do I feel like she didn’t care, we just jumped right into business which I can understand.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hyon was very comforting with me and validated my feelings that my previous experience should not have happened to begin with as it was not standard procedure. She reassured with me that she will connect with me right after my procedure.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderHonestly, I felt quite dismissed during the entire appointment as if she wanted to hurry up and get out the door. I felt rushed for the entire duration. My questions about randomly bleeding and tingling in my hands were pretty much quickly dismissed without further conversation. I wasn't even examined for the bleeding to make sure everything was okay. Even if you the MD think everything is fine, it would behoove you to make sure your patient feels okay with what's going on with their body too. My urine sample was given after my appointment and I noticed some changes that were quickly dismissed as not cause for alarm via MyChart from a nurse. Call me old fashion but a phone call to discuss lab results especially when they are processed after the appointment would be far more appropriate

5.0 star star star star starDr Hahn was clear with information, asked questions to determine that I understood, and provided information about possible symptoms which would necessitate follow-up. She was gracious and knowledgeable.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hyon was fantastic! She got me in on short notice as a new patient. She was thorough in her explanations and questions, considered my personal circumstances and needs in her recommendations, and was very compassionate and helpful. She’s obviously extremely intelligent, without being the slightest bit condescending. I feel confident that I’m in good hands. I wish I’d found her sooner.

5.0 star star star star starI had not seen an OB/GYN in many years, having gotten annual screenings at primary care. However, due to having BC, I thought it wise to resume those annual visits. I was a bit apprehensive, yet just meeting Dr Hyon I felt in good hands. She answered my questions and listened to my concerns. I highly recommend her

5.0 star star star star starProfessionalism, knowledgeable, thorough, excellent active listening skills. She balanced her messaging to me (I.e. reminding me of other appointments to make based on my medical history that I haven’t made appointments for yet and reiterating the importance of it without pointing out that I should have made the appointments already. Reinforcing my overall well-being).

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hyon was absolutely fantastic. Knowing that I had previous issues, she gave me some other options for my IUD removal. I felt like she was actually REALLY listening and truly concerned for my well being. That was the first time I felt like somebody was actually understanding. I am looking forward to always having her in the future. She is an outstanding doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
