5.0 star star star star starDr. Tsarwhas takes the time to talk with me every time we have an appointment. He never makes me feel rushed...For instance, I don't hold back on asking him questions because I sense that he is in a hurry to see his next patient. He is professional, kind, compassionate and caring. I truly feel I won the lottery when Dr. Tsarwhas was recommended as my oncology doctor.

5.0 star star star star starHe is the most knowledgeable, caring, doctor I could ask for. I was recommended to him by a friend 15 years ago before he was at northwestern, by a friend and neighbor whose husband is a doctor, and only wanted THE BEST care for her. I followed him to northwestern, have been under his care for over 15 years.

5.0 star star star star starI know I’ve only seen Dr. Tsarwhas twice but, I know that my case was looked at by many eyes and I feel my treatment plan was carefully considered. While in my appointment I did not feel rushed and was given the opportunity to ask ay questions I had and to discuss my concerns.

5.0 star star star star starDr Tsarwhas advised me that with a 2B Resulting diagnosis, and excision of a lobe and it’s tumor, there was a 1 in 3 chance the cancer might return. Meanwhile the result was thought to be “curativeâ€. Surveillance was the protocol. I accepted this as a Baysian situation. Surveillance imaged the return and treatment of this episode commenced. Twenty exposures of radiation resulted in disappearance of the imaged cancer and no further new growths. I tell all my friends this happy outcome and of the providers who managed it.

5.0 star star star star starhe's the best doctor that I've ever had. I feel that he truly cares about his patients, even to the extent that when I went to the emergency room with covid-19 he gave me a call and recommended that I get monoclonal antibodies.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
