5.0 star star star star starDr Lung explained the process that is used in roboticaly assisted surgery. He followed by listing the risks and the statistics associated with them. The coverage of topics was so good that i had no questions at the end. I believe I am in the best of hands.

5.0 star star star star starI haven't had my surgery yet, but feel very comfortable with Dr. Lung so far. I appreciate how willing he is to collaborate with the other members of my health care team. Every question I asked was given a clear answer in a manner I could easily follow.

5.0 star star star star starListens well . Pre-op Dr. Lung explained the possible findings and surgical pathways; post- op he communicated what happened and what was found during the surgery, and next steps. Overall very pleased by the whole experience.

Dr. Lung has an ability to listen with empathy and compassion that is seldom seen and is matched with an extraordinary ability to communicate complex medical and surgical plans in terms that are so clearly understandable and able to be acted upon by his patients.

5.0 star star star star starI was immediatley at ease with Dr. Lung, and the assistants I saw prior to and immediatly after seeing Dr. Lung. While I have no way of knowing, I felt that he was well informed of my PET scan, and he was straightforward when explaining the scan results without being curt or condescending. That doesn't mean I'm not nervous; but I get the distinct impression that he is invested in the wellness of us who entrust ourselves to him .

5.0 star star star star starThis guy and his team literally poked 3 holes in me and took lung pieces out. The whole team was so pleasant and caring. Checked on me multiple times talked to me before and after and during recovery. Dr lung didn't spend a lot of time with me but did stop to see me. It's not his fault I didn't have questions. He and his team were amazing.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
