Dr. Goldman is an exemplary doc, especially in her field. She is compassionate, thoughtful, and she is a good listener. She always makes honest recommendations regarding my care plan, and she is empathetic to our process. I'm so glad to be a patient of hers.

Kara is outstanding. She is incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. The only reason I'm not continuing with NW in this specialty is because they don't accept Progyny.

Dr. Goldman goes above and beyond what I would ever have expected from a doctor in this field. She is truly incredible. Clearly cutting edge in her field and uses a data and research-based approach to care. She has taken the time to understand our situation and provide care accordingly. I honestly don't know how she does it all! Very grateful to be at NW and to be under her care.

Dr. Goldman is truly one of the best doctors I've ever had. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and competent in her specialty, but she is also incredibly kind, empathetic, and understanding. This is very needed in any medical specialty, but especially in one as emotionally and physically taxing as infertility. My husband and I feel lucky to work with Dr. Goldman and have her help us to build our family.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
