5.0 star star star star starPatient. Listened and asked tons of good, thoughtful questions. Turned it into a discussion, and included me in the process of trying to figure out what might be wrong. Didn't try to act like he knew the answers, but didn't treat me like my symptoms were a figment of my imagination simply because he didnt.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Sachdeva was super kind and caring. I know he is a busy doc, and for good reason- he’s fantastic! I appreciate how detailed he and thorough he is. He genuinely takes the time to listen to his patients, as well as explain the plan of care and reasoning behind it. Despite my husband and I both being nurses, we sincerely appreciated this- it’s just different being on the patient side of things.

5.0 star star star star starHe shows he explain things to me in a manner that I can actually understand. He has gone above and beyond what he is needed to as a neurologist & looked in areas beyond neurology to see what was wrong.

5.0 star star star star starHe listens at each appointment and recalls information from previous discussions! Which means he most likely takes good notes; great attribute. Makes use of the information available from other doctors within the NW Medical system which I appreciate.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kapil Sachdeva and Nurse Wendy are the dynamic duo of medicine. His search for relief modalities is Herculean. He and his staff are professional models of empathetic and service excellence. They work to understand head pain then use every tool to alleviate suffering. There is no parallel, they have no peer, they are first among equals. Their operation should be copied globally.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
