5.0 star star star star starShe was amazing! She identified the adenoma using ultrasound literally within seconds of beginning the scan, providing a detailed oral description of its attributes and placing them in the broader context of endocrine disorders and treatments, accompanied by a masterful summary of multiple potential outcomes. Frankly, I obtained more information in just an hour with her than I have obtained in six weeks of interactions with the medical team in my hometown hospital.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderA Doctor should never come in with full forest. Doctors should make the patient feel very comfortable especially when it’s the first time meeting them. It’s not good to scare a patient away. That Patient may not come back.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDina exhibited concern by acknowledging that what I experiencing is due to illness and nothing that I did wrong. She explained test results and the imaging in a clear manner. It was my birthday and I was worried about the what would be the diagnosis. Having an opportunity to discuss next steps was the best bday gift. She exhibits the kind of inclusiveness in our discussion and knowledge sharing that shows experience and valuing a patients humanity. I feel enouraged that my continuing care will be positive.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
