5.0 star star star star starDr. D. Is wonderful. He walks into my appointment and knows everything about me without looking at the computer or any files. Our interaction is a give and take conversation. He is always very positive. When I walked in with another health issue, he asked all kinds of related questions about my care in a different field and made me feel secure with the information I had received. I wouldn't want any other oncologist.

5.0 star star star star starDr Dammrich was great! He joked around with me in a courteous way, I probably didn't need to be at a hematology office in the first place, but was super glad he was willing to entertain the reasons I was! He was empathetic to my anxiety (I have too many blood draws due to other health issues and those specialists won't answer my concerns in any variability in my blood work) and he was also sympathetic to my family history and my bit of PTSD. He took a thorough approach to ruling out anything my blood test variables COULD be with the hope of not having to see me again which is everything I needed to hear today!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
