4.0 star star star star star_borderThis was my first appointment with Dr. Attarian. I r was a virtual appointment and aside from internet issues for both of us, I was happy with appointment. The Dr was thorough and helpful. Look forward to working with he and his team going forward.

5.0 star star star star starI have had only positive experience with doctors at Northwestern. I was very thankful for my phone conversation with Dr. Attarian addressing sleep apnea. I was encouraged. It may be possible to treat the condition, even end it, with weight loss. My goal is to loose 30+ lbs ASAP . . . for sure before we meet in 6 months. Meanwhile, I will do my best to keep the P-10 nasal pillow mask on when I sleep, or at least 4 hours.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderWaited for a call or link and received none. The link sent a couple days ago, when I confirmed the appointment also would not work. I sadly paid the copay charge for this appointment, with no contact for the actual appointment.

5.0 star star star star starHe is amazing. He listened to me, took account of my concerns, explained information I didn’t know or understand and made sure I was comfortable with next steps and was available for any additional questions or concerns. He was patient and extremely professional.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI am neutral at this time since this is my first meeting with him. He seems to be disagreeing with two other sleep specialists that I had seen before and I am intrigued to find out whether he will right in his assessment.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
