5.0 star star star star starDr. Boike is the best. I am on several post transplant groups and the number of people around the country who do not receive the kind of care I get from Dr. Boike is frightening. I am very grateful.

5.0 star star star star starI have never felt more safe and well taken care of than with Dr Boike. He is patient and explains things to MY level of understanding. I never feel rushed or like my questions are not important. He has a good sense of humor and is exceptional at explaining complex information in a way that is understandable and not overwhelming. He is a remarkable active listener and always answers all my questions thoroughly. I have complete confidence in him and know that I am getting the best care available _ anywhere. I could not be happier with him as my physician.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
