5.0 star star star star starDr Gilley is so nice, very kind and explained everything she was doing for my condition. She is knowledgeable and very gentle. I haven't been to an orthopaedic doctor before, so it was all new to me.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gilley was friendly and informative. She explain in great detail the issues with my current hand. She made sure she had an informed consent and was very professional and thoughtful. No pun intended, but I feel I am in excellent Hands with her care!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gilley is a kind, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. I used the first two adjectives to describe Dr. Gilley because to me a doctor being kind and caring is more important. I say this because knowledge can be taught but the other adjectives describe and define who a person is. They come intrinsically within a person. True caring and kindness cannot be taught and are different than bedside manner which doctors seem to use until they are no longer near the patient. Then, you are no longer “seenâ€. Dr. Gilley cares.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gilley was wonderful, she was warm and took the time to explain the procedure, post-op care, and the process of healing successfully. My post-op care has not wavered in that Dr. Gilley genuinely cared to pop in when I was in for a visit to see her PA or her PT/OT for follow-up care. Dr.Gilley has provided excellent care!

5.0 star star star star starAgain, Dr. Gilley is very knowledgeable and she took time to explain everything she was doing. She also allowed me to ask numerous questions, so upon leaving, I felt I had a very clear understanding of my diagnosis and treatment moving forward.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
