5.0 star star star star starFor the same reasons in my last response. I had an issue with my ankle/foot and he basically gave an anatomy 101 and what a healthy foot should look like compared to what is happening with mine. He was very patient and thorough and did not mind answering my questions. He explinatik s were clear and concise. Exactly how a doctor should be.

5.0 star star star star starDr. York did a tarsal tunnel release on my right foot way back around 2009 or 2010 or something like that and I really liked him then. It was nice to be seen by him again,, he is friendly and easy to talk to.

5.0 star star star star starHe is very knowledgeable and willing to talk about treatments and options and explain why he was recommending certain ones, including re-examining my Xray and explaining my condition. The actual treatment (Injection) went well and he explained what I would feel and experience.

5.0 star star star star starThis doctor is very knowledgeable and understanding. He takes the time to talk with patients to understand their concerns, while also taking time to explain procedure and care. You leave with an excellent understanding on what to do and what’s to come.

5.0 star star star star starFor all the reasons listed above as well as the fact that it is obvious that Dr York truly does care about his patients. Even though he has a very busy patient load, he was totally patient and thorough with my son. He treated the whole patient and not just the injury. His knowledge and ability to explain is exceptional and very appreciated!

5.0 star star star star starThis was the 2nd surgery he has done for me. I've come out of his care twice now with the problems fixed. No issues. To me Dr. York and his staff/team went above and beyond. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

5.0 star star star star starVery knowledgeable, explained everything showing me on computer what he would be doing. Knew exactly what he was going to do for my surgery, and what to expect for my recovery. His office had up to date equipment. His assistant was very helpful as well. I knew what was going to be done for each office visit ahead of time. He obviously loves his job and it shows!!!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
