5.0 star star star star starHis online records speak for itself and then he took time for a personal virtual videocall answering all my questions the day before the surgery. His staff were also very communicative. Right after surgery he called my wife to reinsure her about surgery goals achieved and good expected outcome with speedy recovery. He visited me the next day after surgery in ICU to comfort me personally. Discharge was done by his nurse practitioner who now maintains communication during at-home recovery

5.0 star star star star starI had the opportunity to attend Dr. Kevin Hodges' webinar on HeartValveSurgery.com, where he provided valuable insights into heart valve procedures. Following the webinar, I reached out to Northwestern for a second opinion regarding my own heart valve condition. Within just a week, I received a call back, and shortly after, I was able to schedule a telehealth consultation with Dr. Hodges. During our 40-minute consultation, Dr. Hodges demonstrated exceptional expertise and patience, thoroughly addressing my extensive list of 20-30 detailed questions. His depth of knowledge was evident, and he took the time to explain various surgical options in a clear and reassuring manner. I also learned that Dr. Hodges trained at Cleveland Clinic, where he worked alongside some well-regarded heart surgeons. This background further reinforced my confidence in his expertise and judgment. For anyone seeking a knowledgeable, patient, and highly skilled specialist for heart valve surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Kevin Hodges. His professionalism, willingness to educate, and experience make him an outstanding resource for those navigating complex heart health decisions.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hodges was my 2nd opinion & he was like a breath of fresh air. He was confident & knew exactly how he wanted to proceed with not only removing the mass on my heart but he wanted to do a by-pass to take care of my existing Chronic Total Occusion. He is definitely the surgeon I want to to perform my open heart surgery!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
