5.0 star star star star starThe Doctor listened and explained everything thoroughly, and took time to make sure we knew what our next steps were. He also spoke directly to my daughter to make sure she had an understanding and was welcome to ask questions about her care.

5.0 star star star star starHe really knew what he was talking about and was able to give me answers of what could be going on. He made me feel part of the conversation while talking about our plan. He is super funny and made the whole situation a bit lighter.

5.0 star star star star starWe felt that we came away with a clear picture of what our son’s injury was and that is not always the case when dealing with injuries. Dr Babka is also connected with my sons high school and makes the post visit communication and rehab seamless with their training staff.

5.0 star star star star starGreat doctor who understands the needs of adults who play sports. Realistic in his approaches, and seeking full healing rather than just what is acceptable for an adult who does not participate in athletics.

5.0 star star star star starSame as what I mentioned above: Dr. Babka is awesome. He is very informative and also down to earth. He was able to communicate easily with my daughter, who suffered from a concussion, along with us. We did not feel rushed at all and was very thorough with everything, not many questions after, because he answered them before we had to ask. I would highly recommend him and would go back if we ever needed his specialty.

5.0 star star star star starDr Babka and Chrissy the athletic trainer are both personable and caring in addition to being knowledgable. They talk directly to my teen athlete and understand the gymnastics terms she uses. They are patient, share techniques, and answer questions. We like Dr Babka very much and are willing to travel to different offices for appointments.

5.0 star star star star starThe staff are friendly and setting appts easy. Dr. Babka is personable. He spoke clearly to my daughter about her concussion. I appreciate him asking how she was feeling about everything. He took the time needed to be sure we understood everything and has been available for questions between appts as needed.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Babka was very skilled at talking to a 16 year old! He listened to her and was thoughtful and considerate with his responses. She was feeling very nervous about her injury and he made her feel much better and explained everything in a way that made perfect sense.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Babka was very personable and made me feel comfortable in the office. Explained everything very well and took my concerns seriously. Would recommend Dr. Babka to everyone with a sports related issue. I am not your traditional young athlete but Dr. Babka treated me with respect and understood my sport(s).

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
