1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI had 8am appt. at 8:20 nurse came in and said Dr. went to the wrong location and he will be here in about 15 minutes. At 9am a nurse came in and said he is a few minutes away. At 9:15am same nurse came in sayin he has emergency surgery and it will be another 30 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appt, like I was told. After waiting for 1.5 hours I couldn’t continue waiting I left. I leave an hour from the hospital so I wasted 3.5 hours of my time and got nothing but spent money on gas and tolls. Then they said someone would call me to rescheduled I never received a phone call.

5.0 star star star star starAs a first time patient, I appreciated that Dr Masnyk took the time to review pertinent parts of my medical history with me. He explained my condition in an organized and easily understood manner showing me images from my CTSCAN AND MRI to clarify what he was explaining. By the time I left, I was completely comfortable with the plan for my care and understood fully my condition. A perfect doctor’s visit in my opinion.

5.0 star star star star starKnowledgeable, clear, detailed and very good patient care. This is important since the illness involves the spine and there is risk involved with surgical procedures. Spent time to explain the findings, discuss treatment options and risks and also changed his schedule to advance both treatment and surgery dates. Instills confidence.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
