5.0 star star star star starMet Dr. Poylin for first time and so appreciated his time in explaining my medical condition and answering my questions. I especially liked that he said I was welcome to contact his office should I have any other concerns. I realized afterward that I forgot some things to bring up & will contact his office tomorrow.

5.0 star star star star starI think he asked a lot of questions to properly assess my situation/condition before telling me what my options were. He was able to perform the procedure the same day once I said I wanted to give it a shot.

5.0 star star star star starI like Dr Poylin a lot. He explains everything in a no-nonsense manner and answers all my questions. Doesn't linger with 'awwwww how are you?' which can be annoying. Really helpful aiding in my recovery and I feel safe in his care.

5.0 star star star star starFrom my first conversation with Dr. Poylin through my post surgical visit he was extremely professional, understanding and thorough. During each appointment, he provided clear and detailed information on my course of treatment, along with all potential complications. I always felt confident in his care and surgical abilities. I am extremely grateful for this extraordinary skillful surgeon.

5.0 star star star star starWe visited Dr. Poylin for a second opinion. He was very thorough, taking his time talking with us, getting to know us and answering our questions, as well as answering some questions before we got to ask them. In addition, he examined my problem right then and there and educated us about treatment plans and other options related to my case.

5.0 star star star star starHe seemed to really understand how anxious I was despite wearing a mask. He was clear in his direction and what would be happening at every step of the examination. He reassured me what my diagnosis wasn’t, also gave possible orions of what it could be and what the next steps were to make a determination.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
