5.0 star star star star starDr. Pick is an excellent, professional, compassionate, and always bases his recommendations on clinical studies that he notes so the patient can review them before making a decision on proposed treatment.

5.0 star star star star starHe politely and patiently explain to me what is findings were. And then more importantly what they really meant to me in my daily life. What I could do, should do, and must do to continue healthy. He's changing my medication, any specifically went over the directions on what to do if the new medication didn't seem to be working just right now. How to contact him and all that.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Pick is an extremely smart and talented doctor. He really listens to patients, spends the time needed to diagnose and help. His vast knowledge, including staying current on conditions and treatment options, is especially helpful with complicated cases. Yet, he is also clear on the boundaries of his area of comfort in care to recommend a colleague in the appropriate specialty. Dr. Pick will continue to try and help you on your path to feeling well, or at least better.

4.0 star star star star star_borderHe is difficult to get timely appointments with and at my last appointment I got the feeling that when I asked for advice on a particular drug I was dismissed as being 85. I should have replied that I would like to live to 100.This visit was truly a downer.

5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr Pick for over a decade. His knowledge of his specialty is superb and I am confident I could never find anyone better or that even comes close to Dr Pick’s medical knowledge. Actually, when I heard he was joining Lake Forest Hospital I was rather disappointed but I knew I would follow him to Lake Forestleave Dr Pick. Even before I had my very first appointment with Dr Pick I made several inquiries as to who was regarded # 1 in Chicagoland and was repeatedly told Dr Pick..

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
