5.0 star star star star starI am a relatively new patient of Dr Pick. My first two visits with him were honestly not satisfactory. I thought he did not really care about me as a patient. But my most recent visit on February 26th left me impressed. Dr Pick was attentive, kind, thorough and detailed. He even looked up my most recent test results on Epic, my most recent angiogram done at Northshore, and pointed out a few things from that test, things that nobody else had mentioned to me, not even my concierge medicine PCP. Dr Pick is an evidence based physician, and I as a scientist, greatly appreciate that. He is able to pull up all the data from recent studies to back up what he is saying, no BS, and that to me, is the hallmark of a great physician. Just plain data backed by research. I am deeply grateful for Dr Pick, and his team, who helped me get approved for my GLP-1 meds, and help me get on my way to better health. Special mention for Eric, on Dr Pick's team, who really did all the hard work to provide all the paperwork to my insurance company, after multiple denials.

5.0 star star star star starDr.Pick is very thorough in understanding and assessing the patients current disease and then recommending the proper treatment accordingly. I am so glad and grateful to have Dr. Pick to be my Endocrinologist from now on. Thanks a lot, Dr. Pick for accepting me as your new patient. The long wait of almost one and a half year was worth it.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
