Dr Pick is an excellent physician because he allows you time, listens and most importantly is well informed on the latest studies, medicines and procedures. I would strongly urge anyone needing an endocrinologist to see Dr Pick

Dr. Anthony Pick has been so helpful! He’s so smart. He actually listens, he thinks comprehensively and comes up with alternatives while offering the rationale with pro’s and con’s. He is honest in his expected outcomes and what he doesn’t know. I trust him.

Dr. Pick is a very smart man and explained everything about my symptoms to me and made me feel better about my treatment. He’s extremely caring and also helps with other medical issues by giving referrals and advice on where to get help. I feel very safe in his care and in the care of the entire hospital.

Dr. Pick combines academic research and patient care in such a unique way. He listens to the symptoms and formulates a plan (with options) and educates the patient. He makes the patient feel heard and goes above and beyond.

He is excellent. Extremely knowledgeable, listens well, answers all questions and concerns completely, takes a collaborative approach, never dictates a specific treatment but discusses various options and potential outcomes. Always responds promptly to questions regarding treatment or concerns after an appointment. Is a kind and caring physician.

Knowledge. Expertise. Explains why what he is recommending is important. He does his homework - looks at my records, test results, etc. before walking into my appointment - frankly, I'm not use to that. He doesn't make me feel as though he is hurrying through my appointment in order to be somewhere else.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
