3.0 star star star star_border star_borderKim was friendly to start, but I felt the appointment was rushed and I wasn't listened to. When I arrived, I shared that I was sent to the wrong office/pavilion and was winded from the long walk only 1 week post op. I tried asking about aftercare before we got started and shared that I don't do well with blood/needles, but was informed I would get instructions after getting drains out. I really would've appreciated written instruction or to be told ahead of the procedure because I became nauseous and barely remembered anything she said. I just wanted to leave.

5.0 star star star star starKimberly lights up a room when she smiles, which helped me feel at ease. She worked efficiently and help make me comfortable, and distracted me while she the necessary follow up things that made me anxious. She is kind, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and personable.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
