At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
first appointment with Dr. Tsai and I feel like I got more info and a better understanding of my condition than I ever have with my regular doctor, she really spent a good amount of time with me looking at my scans and going over options and I was thankful! I left feeling better about an upcoming surgical procedure!
I was so impressed with the time she took to research by looking up my past medical records and really listen to me. during a painful procedure she kept apologizing even though I told her that was unnecessary. she was warm and friendly and had lots of energy even though I was her last patient of the day
Dr. Tsai is always very personable and shows a general caring feeling about patients. She explains issues thoroughly and asks you questions that you may be afraid or hesitant to ask her; she anticipates questions that may seem embarassing to ask.
By the end of the appointment, I understood the plan but it wasn't clear what the immediate next steps were: was I going to get a phone call or email to follow up about prescriptions, or should I wait in the office while the doctor checked something?
