Frequently Asked Questions About Sharing Medical Images From Northwestern Medicine

This FAQ will help you understand how to share your cardiology and radiology medical images from Northwestern Medicine. If you need help or have questions about your MyNM account, call the MyNM Help Desk at 855.HLP.MYNM (855.457.6966, TTY: 711).

Medical images are pictures taken of the inside of your body to diagnose, monitor or treat medical conditions. Common imaging tests include:

  • X-rays
  • Mammograms
  • Ultrasounds
  • MRIs

You can view and download these types of images:

  • X-rays
  • CT/CTA
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Mammography
  • DEXA/DXA scan (bone scan)
  • PET scan
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Cath Lab studies
  • Echo/TEE studies

You can share your medical images in your MyNM account.

Follow step-by-step instructions to share your imaging.

Go to mynm.nm.org. At the sign-in page, enter your MyNM username and password if you have an account. If you do not, follow the instructions to sign up.
