Help for Those Who Do Not Have Insurance

Clinical Trials

Northwestern Medicine is participating in a number of local, regional and national clinical trials related to COVID-19.

Chicago Travel Quarantine

The City of Chicago has issued an Emergency Travel Order for everyone entering the city after leaving a state that is experiencing a surge in new COVID-19 cases. If you are coming to Northwestern Memorial Hospital or one of its outpatient facilities for your own care, the quarantine rule does not apply.

Classes and Events Updates

For the health and safety of class attendees, visitors and staff in our hospitals and clinics, Northwestern Medicine has postponed many in-person events. Instead, we have created virtual patient and community classes and events, including educational offerings, support groups and physician lectures. Please contact the clinical department offering the class or event to determine the current status.

Vendor Restrictions

Vendors and partners will have restricted access to our facilities until further notice. This includes postponement of in-person sales demonstrations and meetings in all Northwestern Medicine facilities. Learn about exceptions and our recommendations.
