What to Expect on the Day of Your Appointment

Your care team at the Northwestern Medicine Low Grade Glioma Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital will need the following:

• Copies of your written medical records so that our physicians have a complete view of your medical history
• Pathology slides/block and reports
• Copies of any MRIs or computerized tomography (CT) scans (you can obtain these from the imaging department where they were taken)
• List of current medications

You may be asked to send these items to our office before your appointment or to bring them with you on the day of your appointment.

During your appointment, your physician will review these materials and offer recommendations for treatment. They will take the time to answer all of your questions, make sure you understand your diagnosis and recommended next steps.
