5.0 star star star star starDr. Garcia is considerate and caring, and answers all questions professionally and satisfactorily. Do not care for some appointments being assigned to PAs in place of the doctor. Doctor is one with knowledge and expertise I need for my situation. I appreciate the doctor's time and I know they have a lot of patients, but appointments are never longer than 15-20 minutes. I feel for my peace of mind, in case there needs to be a change or discussion about something, the doctor needs to be present to the patient.

5.0 star star star star starShe's seen me struggle since I started at Northwestern, going through a separation, moving, losing my mom, and daughter going off to college. It's just been so much and so many adjustments in my life and then I had to start chemo on top of that.. I feel very fortunate to be under her care, team, she listens, she doesn't let me suffer in pain like most doctors, she's truly understanding and warm. Yet she is very knowledgeable

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
