1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDr kichko was rude. Talked over me and rushed the phone call that was scheduled. We had a phone call scheduled for 10:30am… no one called me. I finally called the office at 10:50am and got ahold of the dr. The phone call was to get screening recommendations for breast cancer. I finally get on the phone with her and then she tells me that she can’t answer my question and tells me to call someone else. Why was I not informed of this prior? I had called months ago for clarification on the recommendations dr. Kichko had given me and the office told me that a nurse could not answer my question of when to get screened for breast cancer and that I would have to talk to the dr. I schedule this phone call and wait around for the dr only to be told to ask someone else.

5.0 star star star star starI loved Dr.. Kitchko! She was so kind and knowledgeable. She explained everything well and took all the time I needed to answer my questions. Her nursing staff were also good. I especially liked her nurse/scheduler. She too was very patient, understanding and helpful!

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderAlthough nice, she spoke to me like I’m a child, very squeaky voice. Not sure if she talks to everyone that way but I’m in my 40s, I’m not a pediatric patient. Unsure of correct diagnosis so I will get a second opinion elsewhere.

5.0 star star star star starI don't have a lot of experience with her yet (only the initial appointment so far), but everything went well and she did a good job of explaining the details of the procedure. She was straightforward, but friendly.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
