5.0 star star star star starDr Dumanian is outstanding. His techniques are well documented and his surgery results are exactly what he described. He is a compassionate person, who takes the personal health of the patient into account in his treatment plan. Despite the surgical complexity, he describes his process at a level the average person can understand. We respect the work he did for my family. No doctor at other hospitals would tackle this surgery, but Dr D did a fantastic job and was humble about it.

5.0 star star star star starI saw several doctors, but none of them could provide me with the kind of surgery I needed. Dr. Dumanian had integrity and modesty. His outcomes were astounding. After four years of suffering from agony and having trouble putting on clothes because of friction and not fitting into the bottoms, my way of life has been restored. He performs miracles. Dr. Dumanian is a MUST for any woman with DIEP problems. Our dreadful surgical results can only be fixed by him. Every day I give praise and gratitude to God for you.

5.0 star star star star starHe had good bedside manner and hopefully the close up looks good after things have healed. Katie, his RN, was very helpful and quickly answered any questions I had after the procedure via my chart.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Dumanian is an exemplary surgeon. He is the absolute best both as a doctor and with his patient communication skills. I am extremely grateful to him for fixing my hernia and caring for my brother's hand after his surgery done elsewhere. His true concern in follow-ups to ensure all is going well is also much appreciated.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Dumanian is a model for what all healthcare providers should be. He is knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and an absolute expert in his field. If I wasn't done having kids, I'd name my next one after him. He changed my life for the better. No one else could have done what he did as well as he did it. I am forever grateful.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
