About Marianjoy's Residency Program
Our 36-month advanced residency program strikes an excellent balance between inpatient, outpatient and procedural training, so you receive comprehensive educational experiences. As a fully ACGME-accredited PM&R program, we are dedicated to preparing our residents to confidently enter clinical practice, pursue fellowship opportunities or embark on academic careers.
Our freestanding, single-site advanced program is located at our 125-bed hospital in the west suburbs of Chicago. We offer a dedicated programmatic approach to patient care, ensuring that you learn in an environment committed to the highest standards. On-campus rotations include:
- Brain injury
- Stroke
- Pediatrics
- Spinal cord injuries
- Orthopaedics/musculoskeletal
- General rehabilitation
- Outpatient clinics
Off-campus rotations include specialized experiences in:
- Musculoskeletal medicine
- Pain management
- Consults
- Electives
- VA rotations for inpatient/outpatient care, EMG and pain management
Most of your rotations will take place on campus, allowing for a cohesive and integrated learning experience. Nestled amongst nearly 60 acres of trees and healing gardens, Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital offers a serene and welcoming atmosphere.
