Interventional Endoscopy at Northwestern Medicine

Northwestern Medicine Digestive Health Center has one of the largest, most comprehensive interventional endoscopy programs in the Chicagoland area, and our specialists perform nearly 3,500 interventional procedures per year. In addition, our program trains future leaders in leading-edge endoscopy techniques through an advanced interventional endoscopy fellowship training program.

The ultimate goal of our highly skilled team of physicians is to provide timely and excellent patient care by treating complex diseases. Our interventional endoscopists function as part of a larger multidisciplinary team that includes surgeons, oncologists, hepatologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, dietitians and behavioral therapists. This approach to disease allows our patients access to comprehensive care that is tailored to their needs and delivered by physicians who have expertise in the field.

Meet the Team

Interventional Endoscopy team members

The Northwestern Medicine Interventional Endoscopy team provides patients with safe and effective alternatives to more invasive diagnostic testing or surgery. Because our physicians use advanced technology, they are able to remove early cancers and treat more complicated diseases in a minimally invasive fashion.
