5.0 star star star star starI trust his skills as an exceptional surgeon. He has excellent bedside manner. His entire team including his nurse Myra and PA [ ] Wong are exceptional as well with the care they show and how efficiently they work.

5.0 star star star star starFirst, it is welcomed that he entered the room and introduced himself, and 2d that he answered my questions. Unfortunately, patients don't always know what questions to ask, or all of the questions patientsshould ask. There is a world of difference between this physician and the physician who I saw in Florida a month ago, who left me with no confidence in his skills. The doctor is very pleasant and very professional.

5.0 star star star star starI am a return patient of Dr. Nuber. He is a great orthopedic surgeon. His PA, Jeff, is very friendly and knowledgeable, and I’m able to get in to see Dr. Nuber rather quickly. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI felt unimportant to this doctor Like my visit and needs were a chore for him . I wanted education Re my acl tear and info re my mri that I submitted. I learned nothing as to why he thought there was a tear versus the knee being “in tact “ as the mri report showed and I don’t feel I understand my future plan of action for my knee health. Doc spent less than 5 minutes w me and was next door sitting in his cubicle while he could of sat discussing my knee which is why I was there I waited about 15 minutes for the brace fitting staff person to fit me for a brace that i hope my insurance will cover.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderI am unable to score candidly as it was my first appointment and first time meeting with Dr. Nuber. The consult was extremely brief and not extensive enough to give a credible score; however, I found him to be friendly and direct.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDr Nuber had no interest in explaining anything. He was dismissive and offered no solution to my issue. He was quick to offer suggestions of my original doctor should’ve done. While he offered suggestions of what the other doctor could’ve done, he gave none on what he was willing to do to help. I suppose he thought I should just visit the other doctor again rather than bother him with my issue.

5.0 star star star star starHe knows his stuff and zeroed in onthe problem in no time. And he went above and beyond. Once he determined that it was not my knee he ordered x-rays of my lower spine which turned out to be the culprit of the extravagant pain that I am experiencing. He told me what OTC to use immediately and gave me a referral to the Northwestern Spine Doc and to PT. If he hadn't done ALL that, I don't know what I would have done because the pain is unbearable and it's getting in the way of every movement I make...and my livelihood.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gordon Nuber was awesome. He was efficient personable and he got to the route of my pain problem. Also he was able to get me in for an X-ray the same time as my appointment which was very helpful. I didn’t need to return for an additional appointment!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
