Minds Matter 2026

Friday, May 1, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago

Join us for Northwestern Medicine Lou & Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute’s annual fundraising gala, which raises essential funds for brain and spine tumor patients and research at Northwestern Medicine. This year’s gala will honor Chicago philanthropist Robin Loewenberg Tebbe for her generous support of Northwestern Medicine and the work of Malnati Brain Tumor Institute.

The gala will take place at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago and will include a seated meal, music and entertainment, and auction and raffle. Tickets for the 2026 gala will become available for purchase in November 2025.

Cancer Survivors' Celebration Walk & 5K

Tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 7, Grant Park

Held on National Cancer Survivors Day, the 33rd Annual Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Walk & 5K honors cancer patients, survivors, healthcare professionals and the community that stands by their sides.

Event highlights include a walk and 5K run along the Chicago lakefront, live music, inspiring speakers, family-friendly activities and more. Funds raised for the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University support leading-edge treatments, life-changing research and the highest level of cancer care. Registration for the Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Walk begins in January 2026.

Digestive Health Institute Gala

Saturday, June 13, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago

The Digestive Health Institute Gala will highlight recent medical advances that have enabled patients with gastrointestinal conditions to join their loved ones at the table and celebrate the joy of food.

In addition to supporting vital nutrition programs, funds raised will back critical research at Northwestern Medicine to help prevent, treat and ultimately cure a spectrum of digestive disorders — including colon, pancreatic and esophageal cancers, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, swallowing disorders, hepatitis and other liver diseases. Please join us at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago for a cocktail reception, seated dinner, silent and live auction, and dancing.

46th Annual Northwestern Medicine Golf Classic

Monday, June 22, Medinah Country Club, Medinah

Join us for a premier event at the iconic Medinah Country Club. The 46th Annual Northwestern Medicine Golf Classic brings together more than 400 corporate partner golfers and numerous leaders from across Northwestern Medicine for a day of partnership, impact and exclusive experiences.

Enjoy 18 holes of championship golf, on-course activities, breakfast, lunch, a cocktail reception and a raffle, all while supporting a meaningful cause and celebrating the power of partnership.

Join us for the annual Northwestern Medicine Walk & 5K, benefiting Living Well Cancer Resources. This inspiring community event brings together patients, families, caregivers and supporters to celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and raise vital funds to provide free programs and services for those facing cancer.

Enjoy a 5K run or 1-mile walk filled with a vibrant festival featuring family-friendly activities, breakfast, special treats and a survivor circle celebration.

Registration for the 2026 Northwestern Medicine Walk & 5K opens June 2026.
