Continuing Medical Education (CME)
Northwestern Medicine provides both live and online continuing medical education (CME) opportunities at its’ campuses. Hospitals in the health system facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of education programs and initiatives to meet the educational needs of physicians and healthcare professionals in the communities we serve. We obtain our credit designation through our ACCME accredited CME Provider, the Office of Continuing Medical Education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Northwestern Memorial Hospital continues to coordinate a comprehensive Physician Outreach Education Program to address the educational needs of community facilities and physicians in metropolitan Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Through CME, this program allows educational lectures to be presented in the physicians’ community.

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Delnor Hospital
Both Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital are accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation to provide continuing nursing education.
CDH and Delnor Hospitals also offer educational opportunities for other healthcare professionals.
