The Northwestern Medicine Outpatient Infusion and Procedure Center at Central DuPage Hospital is a hospital-based, comprehensive outpatient department that offers a practical option for affiliated providers and their patients who have outpatient needs. Another option is the Outpatient Infusion Center at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital.

Staff and services

The Center staff has the skill and experience to care for a highly diverse range of patient needs. There are no staff providers housed in the Outpatient Infusion and Procedure Center, however, affiliated providers can easily arrange care for their patients with little notice and many times avoid a costly and lengthy Emergency Department visit for non-emergent care. The Center has private exam rooms with comfortable recliners and flat screen televisions, as well as two surgical suites for minor surgical procedures and consults. The experienced surgical techs are happy to meet the requests of providers with little notice.

The experienced clinical nursing staff are skilled in:

• IV medication administration
• IV hydration
• Biologic product administration
• Transfusion therapy and management of central lines

Ordering infusion treatments for patients at Central DuPage Hospital or Delnor Hospital is easy. Complete the following forms:

Instructions for patients

If your physician has referred you to the Center, please call 630.933.6272 to make an appointment. To avoid unnecessary waiting, advance appointments are highly recommended. Often, same day appointments are available. You must have an order or referral from your doctor to be seen.
