Overview

Northwestern Medicine Summer Observation Program in the Western Suburbs

What is the Summer Observation Program?

The Summer Observation Program is an opportunity for individuals to come to one of our locations for a healthcare career observation.

  • All observers must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Requestors will be matched to available spots. Available spots will be posted for selection.
  • Healthcare career observations will be limited to no more than 8 hours per individual. Requestors can split their hours to maximize observation of multiple positions.

Due to COVID-19, high school student programs, healthcare observations and shadowing experiences are postponed until further notice.
